Drywall installation in California construction site

1. United States

Challenge: A contractor in California was having frequent issues with locally purchased screws during large gypsum board installations. The screws often broke or stripped. It wasn’t noticeable in samples, but once crews used them with auto-feed screw guns, the problems became obvious on site.

Solution: After reviewing the customer's application situation, we immediately provided a solution, offering harder drywall screws. We shortened the delivery time by expedited production in the factory to enhance the construction efficiency.

“We had fewer issues on site compared to our previous batches. The quality of the screws is better, and our crews noticed the difference right away.”

— David Miller, Project Manager, Drywall Contractor

Container shipment for Canadian screw distributor

2. Canada

Challenge: A distributor in Ontario, Canada, had trouble with inconsistent deliveries from multiple suppliers. This caused delays and inventory issues for their clients.

Solution: We worked with them to consolidate several screw types—csk head self drilling screws, csk head self tapping screws, and hex head self drilling screws—into mixed container shipments. Production schedules were aligned with their inventory cycles to ensure they always had the right products on hand. Over time, the distributor started placing regular orders for multiple product lines, reducing procurement complexity and keeping their customers satisfied.

“Having everything in one shipment made things much easier for us. Our inventory is more manageable, and delays are almost gone.”

— Sarah Thompson, Procurement Manager, Building Materials Distributor

Corrosion-resistant screws for Brazilian construction

3. Brazil

Challenge: A construction supplier in São Paulo was facing corrosion issues with standard drywall screws in humid storage and project environments. The screws looked fine initially but developed rust over time, affecting customer satisfaction.

Solution: We recommended a better coating solution and improved packaging to protect the screws during transport and storage. After a few shipments, the customer reported fewer complaints from contractors and end users.

“Depois de mudar o revestimento, tivemos muito menos problemas com ferrugem. A qualidade ficou mais estável para o nosso mercado.”

— Lucas Silva, Operations Manager, Construction Supplier

Retail packaging warehouse for Chilean importer

4. Chile

Challenge: An importer in Santiago was expanding into retail channels and needed packaging that fit local market preferences. Previously, they were using standard bulk cartons, which made it difficult to sell through hardware stores and smaller distributors.

Solution: After understanding their sales channels, we helped redesign the packaging—from bulk cartons to smaller retail-friendly boxes with clear labeling. We also adjusted carton sizes to better fit local pallet and warehouse handling. This allowed them to present their products more professionally in stores and improved sell-through in their distribution network.

“El nuevo empaque nos ayudó mucho en ventas. Es más fácil para nuestros clientes y se ve más profesional en tienda.”

— Juan Pérez, Sales Manager, Construction Importer
